Ahlot is a marijuana subscription box conceptualized by myself and Greg Pantelic. I know there are a lot of weed-based business but I promise we thought of this before it was cool (2016) 😎.

Graphically, we worked around the concept of ‘elegantly fucked up’ to differentiate strains and used consistent iconography to present information such as the strength, and potential uses of the product.

We also developed and hand built the physical prototype of the box itself - the final prototype features an ultra-matte, japanese paper with a rough tooth dyed black, glass containers with plastic smell-proof lids and a handmade walnut tray with routed divots to neatly present the material. Ahlot took this prototype box to a seed round of 2+ million raise.

Each month, potential subscribers would receive a box of curated strains; loose leaf and pre-rolled joints in glass smell proof containers.
