The Stout surface line takes advantage of the incredible strength of steel plate to add stiffness and strength where it is needed while still being primarily warm, solid wood pieces.
Seating:
Shaped against an archetype of a classic Danish dining chair, these minimalist pieces feature an eye catching copper, brass or powder coated curved back rest, which allows it to be impossibly thin in it's context. In addition, the use of a welded steel substructure allows the piece to be flat packed and assembled in under a minute with commercial grade machine threaded connections.

By running the steel apron down the middle of the table, the Stout table series uses less material but remains just as stiff as a table should be.
